Find your ring size

Ring sizes are European: a size is the inside circumference of the ring, in millimetres — a size 52 measures 52 mm around. Every size from 44 to 71 can be ordered.

With a ring you already wear

Take a ring that fits the finger you have in mind — round, not dented. Measure its inside diameter with a ruler, from edge to edge, and find it in the table. Or print our ring sizer and lay the ring on its circles.

Print the ring sizer

With a strip of paper

Wrap a strip of paper, about 1 cm wide, around the base of your finger — over the knuckle if it is wider: the ring has to pass over it. Mark where the paper overlaps, unroll it and measure the length in millimetres. That length is your size.

Measure at the end of the day, with warm hands: fingers are slimmer in the morning and in the cold.
Your two hands are not the same: measure the one you will wear the ring on.
If you hesitate between two sizes, choose the larger one.
A wide band, like the Band-Aid rings, fits more snugly than a thin one.
The surest way: have your finger measured at the studio in Brussels, by appointment.

Description

Leaves — fleeting, singular expressions of beauty, forever transformed by the passing seasons. Each year, nature lets go of its leaves, only to welcome them back in another form, a few months later. A quiet reminder that every ending carries within it the promise of a new beginning. As the saying goes by Marguerite Yourcenar : “No one knows whether everything lives only to die, or whether everything dies only to be reborn.” The soul, too, moves through its own metamorphosis, shedding what no longer belongs, in order to become what it was always meant to be.

These leaves whisper to us of the fleeting beauty of each moment, the fragility of life and the inevitability of change…

How precious it is, then, to savour the present, to surrender to the gentle touch of the wind, to release the weight we carry, and allow ourselves to take flight.

"To wander like a leaf released from its branch, carried softly by the wind, without ever knowing whether it is the wind that carries the leaf, or the leaf that carries the wind." Perhaps this is what it means to be free: to let go, to trust, and to become. As Michel Alain Jourdan so beautifully suggests.

18 Carat Gold

All Isabelle Lenfant jewelry can be handmade in 18 carat gold — yellow, white or pink — on request. 18 carat gold means at least 750/1000 of pure gold. The metals used comply with international jewelry regulations, and no nickel is used at any stage of production. 18 carat gold is stable and will not oxidise.

18K Plated Gold Silver

Sterling silver with 18K gold plating: 5 microns for rings and bracelets, 2 microns for necklaces, earrings and pendants. Made to order, and cannot be returned.

Plating wears away over time with friction and the acidity of the skin, revealing the silver, which then oxidises. It suits careful wearers: avoid sleeping, swimming, sport, perfume, make-up and household products.

Customisation

Engraving, by machine or by hand. Precious stones of about 0.9 to 1.2 mm, some of which can be set inside the ring, against the skin. Other gemstone colours are possible on the Trace, Brilliance and L’Eclat rings.

Care

925/1000 sterling silver, hand-polished, lead and nickel free. Silver oxidises naturally — it turns black with sweat, the acidity of the skin, sulphur and moisture. It is part of its charm.

Avoid sleeping, swimming, sport, perfume and make-up with your jewelry. Clean it with a silver-cleaning product or a soft cloth.

Packaging

Every IL creation comes in its original box, enclosing one “heart healing” quote for each collection :

Returns or Exchanges

You can change your mind within 14 days of receiving your piece, without giving a reason. Let us know at isabellelenfant@gmail.com, then send it back within 14 days, in its box and packaging. We refund the price of the jewel within 14 days; the cost of sending it back is yours.
