The shop is run by Isabelle Lenfant, a sole trader registered in Belgium, Rue Vilain XIIII 29, 1000 Brussels, Belgium. Company number (BCE/KBO): 0880.674.777. VAT number: BE 0880.674.777.

These terms apply to consumers, that is people buying for themselves rather than for a business. Our jewelry is sold to be worn: buying it in order to resell it is not allowed.

Every piece is designed and handmade in our Brussels studio, in 925/1000 sterling silver or in sterling silver plated with 18 carat gold. On request, a piece can also be made in 18 carat gold (at least 750/1000), yellow, white or pink: write to us for a quote. No nickel is used at any stage.

Because each piece is made and polished by hand, it may differ slightly from the photographs: these show the design faithfully, but the colour on your screen and the small variations of handwork are not contractual.

Silver oxidises naturally, and gold plating wears away over time with friction and the acidity of the skin. This is the nature of the materials, not a defect. The care advice on each product page helps them last.

To order, choose your piece, its material and your size, add it to your cart, enter your details, your delivery address and the delivery method, choose how you pay, and accept these terms. You do not need an account to order.

Your order is final once your payment has been received: at once with PayPal, and when your transfer reaches our account with a bank transfer. We confirm it by email, with its number and a summary. Please check this email: if something is wrong, write to us at once at isabellelenfant@gmail.com.

Until your payment is received, the pieces in your order are held for you — one hour with PayPal, seven days with a bank transfer — then released, and the order is cancelled.

We may refuse or cancel an order in case of an obvious pricing error, a suspected fraud, or a previous order left unpaid. If we cancel an order you have paid, we refund it in full.

Prices are in euros, all taxes included. Delivery costs are shown separately, before you pay, and depend on the delivery method you choose.

The price you pay is the price displayed when you place your order. We may change our prices at any time, but never for an order already confirmed.

For pieces made in gold on request, the price may vary slightly with the gold market: we then confirm it in a quote before you order.

A promotional code is entered in your cart, before you order. Each code has its own conditions — the discount, its validity dates, a minimum amount, a number of uses — which are stated when it is given. The discount applies to the jewelry, not to delivery. Codes cannot be combined, exchanged for cash, or applied to an order already placed.

You pay either with PayPal, or by bank transfer.

With PayPal, you pay with your PayPal account, or with a bank card through PayPal without opening an account. Your card details are sent to PayPal only: we never see them. You are charged when you confirm the payment.

By bank transfer, we give you our bank details and a structured communication, on screen after your order and by email. Please use exactly this communication: it is how we recognise your payment. Your order is confirmed when the transfer reaches our account; if it has not arrived within seven days, the order is cancelled.

Pieces in stock are prepared and sent within a few working days of your payment.

Most of our jewelry is made to order in the studio: please allow two weeks from the day your payment is received. A personalisation, an engraving or a piece in gold made on request may take longer; we tell you before you order. We tell you by email when your order leaves the studio.

Delivery methods, costs and indicative times after dispatch:

Pick-up at the studio in Brussels, by appointment — free.

Belgium — €8, free from €150; 2 to 4 working days.

Europe — €15, free from €250; 3 to 7 working days.

Outside Europe, delivery is possible on request: write to isabellelenfant@gmail.com and we will send you a quote.

Unless we have agreed on another date with you, your order is delivered within 30 days of your payment, or within the making time stated for made-to-order pieces. If we cannot meet that time, we tell you; you may then cancel the order and be refunded in full.

We ship by tracked courier, on working days, to the address you give us. Please check it carefully: a parcel returned because of a wrong or incomplete address will be sent again at your expense.

The pieces travel at our risk until you, or someone you designate, take them in hand. When the parcel arrives, please check that it is intact. If it is damaged or opened, note it to the courier and write to us within three working days with photographs, so that we can make a claim. If your parcel has not arrived within the expected time, write to us: we will open an enquiry with the carrier.

You may withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of the day on which you, or someone you designate, take possession of the piece, without giving any reason.

To do so, tell us clearly before the end of that period, by email to isabellelenfant@gmail.com or by post to the address in article 1. You may use the model form in article 10, but you do not have to. Then send the piece back to the same address within 14 days of telling us, in its box and packaging, with all that came with it. The cost of sending it back is yours; we recommend a tracked and insured service.

We refund all payments received from you, including the cost of standard delivery, within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal, by the same means you paid with: through PayPal, or by bank transfer. We may wait until we have received the piece, or proof that you have sent it, whichever comes first. If you chose a delivery method more expensive than our standard one, the difference is not refunded.

You may handle the piece as you would in a shop, to see it and try it on. If it comes back worn, damaged or incomplete, the refund may be reduced by the loss of value this causes.

The right of withdrawal does not apply to pieces made to your specifications or clearly personalised: an engraving, a size made for you, stones set at your request, and pieces made specially for your order in gold or in gold-plated silver. The product page and your order confirmation say so before you pay.

If a ring you ordered does not fit, we exchange it once for the right size, as a courtesy and beyond your legal rights. Write to us first at isabellelenfant@gmail.com; the cost of sending the piece back and forth is yours. Further adjustments are quoted.

Every piece is covered by the legal guarantee of conformity for two years from delivery. If a defect appears that existed at delivery, we repair or replace the piece free of charge; if neither is possible, or not within a reasonable time, you may ask for a price reduction or a refund.

Please tell us about a defect within two months of noticing it, at isabellelenfant@gmail.com, with a description and photographs.

The guarantee does not cover normal wear, the natural oxidation of silver, the wearing away of gold plating, nor damage caused by a knock, an accident, careless use or a repair made by someone else.

Adjustment, repair, cleaning and the renewal of gold plating are part of our after-sale care. Write to isabellelenfant@gmail.com before sending anything: we confirm what can be done and what it costs. Pieces are sent to the studio at your expense.

The pieces remain our property until they are paid in full.

For deliveries outside the European Union, import duties, taxes and customs fees are charged by the country of destination. They are yours to pay, and are not included in our prices or delivery costs.

We are liable for the correct performance of your order, under the conditions of Belgian law. We are not liable for a delay or a failure caused by an event beyond our control, such as a strike, a carrier’s failure or a natural disaster. Nothing in these terms limits our liability towards you where the law forbids it.

We use your details only to process your order, deliver it, and answer you. Our privacy policy explains what we keep, for how long, and your rights.

If we cannot agree, you may turn, free of charge, to the Consumer Mediation Service (Service de Médiation pour le Consommateur), Boulevard du Roi Albert II 8 box 1, 1000 Brussels — mediationconsommateur.be.

These terms are governed by Belgian law. In case of dispute, and after trying to settle it amicably, the courts of Brussels have jurisdiction — without depriving you of the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live, nor of your right to bring the matter before the courts of your place of residence.

We may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one in force on the day you place it; we keep it, and send it to you on request.
